Notary fee questions

How is my in-person fee determined?

Each service reserves a standard 30-minute appointment. The applicable fee is based on the selected service category and confirmed after we review the complete documents, quantity, complexity and intended overseas use.

Are all listed appointments 30 minutes?

Yes. Every service category listed in the in-person fee guide reserves a standard 30-minute appointment. Additional time or unusually complex work will be discussed and quoted before proceeding.

How are additional documents or attestations charged?

Additional documents are assessed by category, quantity, signatures, certificates, pages, verification and complexity. Any additional charge is confirmed before the work proceeds.

Is GST included?

GST is additional where applicable. Government filing fees, consular charges, courier, postage, translation and other third-party costs are separate unless expressly stated.

Does this guide cover online or mobile appointments?

No. This pricing applies only to in-person appointments. Online and mobile appointments have separate pricing and service requirements.

Can you give a fixed estimate before the appointment?

We can usually provide an estimate after we see the complete documents and understand their destination and intended use. The final fee may change if the documents or requirements differ from the information supplied.

What information should I provide?

Please identify the document type, intended purpose, destination country, number of signatories and whether an Apostille or Authentication has been requested by the receiving authority.

Are DFAT charges included?
